Description
We’ll be using a variety of drawing material & techniques in this class to learn the basic element of composition, perspective shading, and blending. Students will begin working from still life and a variety of subject. This class is open to beginners as well as more experienced artists wanting to build their skills.
The following is a suggested basic supply list for class: (All of these items can be found at Michael’s in-store or on-line)
~Drawing pad (9”x12” or 11”x14”)
~A variety of drawing Pencils: H, 2B, 4B, 6B
~Kneaded Eraser and rubber or gum eraser
~Blending stumps (various sizes) (aka: “tortillion stumps)
~Soft vine charcoal / hard compressed charcoal / charcoal pencils
You do not need to get everything on this list at once. I will review supplies at the first class. A drawing pad, an eraser & sharpener, a few pencils, and some charcoal will be fine for the first class
