Originally from California, Joan graduated from UCLA with an art degree in Design. “Creating” has been a lifelong passion, whether it be through quilling, cardmaking, sewing, fairy garden houses, needle and nuno felting, stained glass, or her own flower gardens. Joan specializes in 3D quilling, and has an Etsy site with some of her creations. She has been quilling for over 40 years and has taught quilling classes in Hollis, Amherst, and Milford.
